The Professional Side
I am a licensed clinical social worker in Indiana and have been providing mental health services from therapy to case management for more than ten years. I earned my MSW from Indiana University Indianapolis with a concentration in Children, Youth, and Families and a Fellowship with the National Child Welfare Workforce Institute.
I am currently working at Living Mindfully, LLC and am accepting new clients, ages six and up.
I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families in schools, the community, and outpatient settings. Storytelling, art, and mindfulness have been transformative tools for my clients and are deeply valued in my practice.
I am trained in treating trauma, anxiety, and depression, and I am currently in training to provide somatic interventions to holistically treat trauma and grief.
In 2019, I completed schooling at Blooming Life Yoga Studio and School to become a 200-hour certified yoga teacher with a focus on Hatha and restorative yoga.

The Personal Side
Family, books, and yoga
I live in Indianapolis with my husband Eric and our son Desmond. We have two cats, Bats and Spice. We enjoy spending our time together and take every opportunity to walk, bike, or just be outside. Desmond is an explorer just like his dad and me; so rain or shine, we are venturing down trails, streets, hills, parks, or sitting out on the porch, spotting neighborhood cats.
I love to read books. I prefer fiction in the mystery and horror realm. I prefer an early bedtime and a late morning alarm, but alas, that has been eluding me in parenthood.
Writing and drawing have always been hobbies of mine. The first book I wrote was a wild ride called A Puppy's Tale. I was in the fourth grade and received a gold sticker. I write poetry, journal nearly every day, and wrote a horror novel in my spare time a few years ago, which sparked my interest in writing as a mode for emotional processing. I am NOT adept at social media posts. I definitely could use more practice there.
Yoga is a big part of my life. Yogic philosophy has been a lifechanging force for me and something I feel deeply honor and am learning more and more about.
